Layover Car Care Inc. ("Layover Car Care," "we," "us," or "our") provides vehicle hand wash, detailing, and car care services while a customer's vehicle is parked at participating airport parking facilities. PARK AC JFK and ARB Parking JFK are our participating parking partners at JFK. Future parking partners will follow the same customer-consent flow before mobile numbers are used for Layover Car Care text messages. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website, book a service, scan a QR code, provide information through a participating parking partner intake form, receive service communications, or contact us for support.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following information when you use our services:
- name, email address, phone number, and booking contact details
- vehicle information such as make, model, color, license plate, and parking or valet handoff notes
- service selections, add-ons, return timing, order status, payment status, tips, refunds, and receipt records
- before-and-after service photos, condition notes, and support messages
- website, device, and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve our website and booking flow
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- process bookings, payments, refunds, receipts, and service updates
- coordinate with participating parking lots and service crews
- document vehicle condition and service completion
- send opted-in service messages about booking links, booking confirmation, vehicle check-in, service completion, order status, receipts, before-and-after photos, and support
- send occasional car care offer messages only when you separately opt in to marketing SMS
- prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, improve operations, and comply with legal obligations
SMS/Text Messaging
If you opt in to service SMS, Layover Car Care may send text messages about booking links, booking confirmation, vehicle check-in, service completion, order status, receipts, before-and-after photos, and customer support. If you separately opt in to marketing SMS, Layover Car Care may send occasional car care offers related to your parked vehicle. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Customers may opt in by entering a mobile phone number in the Layover Car Care booking form and checking the optional service SMS consent box. Customers may separately opt in to marketing SMS by checking the separate optional marketing SMS consent box. Customers may also scan a Layover Car Care QR code on a poster, shuttle or facility sign, or parking stub that opens the same booking form, or provide a mobile phone number on a participating parking partner's vehicle intake form at key handoff and sign the partner disclosure. PARK AC JFK and ARB Parking JFK are our participating partners for the intake-form consent flow at JFK. Future partners must use the same separate service SMS and marketing SMS disclosure flow before customer mobile numbers are used for Layover Car Care text messages.
Service SMS consent and marketing SMS consent are separate, optional choices. Neither is required to purchase parking, purchase car care, or receive a Layover Car Care service. You may still receive required service communications by email when email is available.
Mobile Information Non-Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent status with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates. We use messaging providers to deliver Layover Car Care messages, and those providers may use mobile information only to deliver messages for Layover Car Care, not for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Service Providers And Partners
We may share limited information with vendors and partners that help us operate the service, including payment processors, messaging providers, email providers, parking-lot partners, customer-support tools, hosting providers, analytics providers, and service crews. These parties may use the information only to provide services to us or to you.
Payment Information
Payment card details are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. We may store payment status, payment identifiers, receipt records, refund records, and related order information.
Photos And Vehicle Records
Before-and-after photos, condition notes, and service records may be used for quality assurance, customer support, dispute review, security, and proof of service. We do not use customer vehicle photos for unrelated advertising without permission.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve safety and operations.
Your Choices
You may:
- reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages
- reply HELP for SMS help
- contact us to update or request deletion of information where legally available
- choose not to opt into SMS while still using email for service communications
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
